Delegates work through reading the environment for the shifts that actually matter, and setting direction that is specific enough to be acted on and to rule things out. Building an executive team that argues before deciding and holds afterwards follows. Allocating capital, people and attention is treated as the real expression of strategy. Driving execution through structure, measures and consequence is covered. Leading change and the resistance that is a genuine warning rather than obstruction are addressed. Board and stakeholder relationships follow. The course closes on succession, on the executive's own judgement under pressure and on the decisions that cannot be delegated.
