Maintenance Planning and Scheduling in the Digital Age

Maintenance work is lost between identification and execution far more often than at the tools, and a crew that arrives without the part, the permit or the isolation has already lost the day. This course covers closing that gap. Delegates work through work identification and the notification quality that determines whether a job can be planned at all, scope development and the job plan specifying labour, parts, tools and access. Estimating follows. Scheduling is covered as a separate discipline from planning: weekly and daily schedules, resource loading and the schedule compliance measure that reveals whether any of it works. Coordination with operations for access and isolation is addressed, since this is where most schedules break. Backlog management and shutdown work selection follow. The course closes on digital tools and on the data that makes planning improve.
