Compliance Management Systems and Regulatory Reporting

Compliance failures are rarely discovered as a single breach; they are discovered as a regulator asking a question the organisation cannot answer from its own records. This course builds the system that answers. Delegates work through the regulatory universe and the discipline of mapping every obligation the organisation actually carries, and assigning each to a named owner rather than to a department. Turning an obligation into a control follows, along with testing whether the control operates. Monitoring, assurance and the difference between the two are covered. Regulatory reporting is addressed practically: the returns, the deadlines, the data lineage behind each figure and the sign off that makes someone accountable. Breach identification, self reporting and remediation follow. Regulator relationships and inspection readiness are covered. The course closes on compliance reporting to a board and on keeping the obligation map current as rules change.
