Cloud adoption has outpaced cloud security capability, and the breaches that follow are almost never a provider failure; they are a storage bucket left open, a key committed to a repository, or an account with permissions nobody reviewed. This course covers the customer's side of the bargain. Delegates work through the shared responsibility model and what genuinely remains yours, identity and access as the primary control surface, and the misconfigurations that account for most incidents. Data protection follows: classification, encryption at rest and in transit, and key management. Logging, monitoring and detection in a cloud environment are covered. Backup, recovery and the ransomware scenario are addressed. The course closes on posture management, on residency obligations, and on securing accounts that were opened without the technology function knowing.
